Ava Michelle is an American actress, model, dancer, and singer. She began dancing at age two and trained in multiple styles at her mother’s studio, JC’s Broadway Dance Academy. She gained national attention on Dance Moms, where her height became both a standout trait and a challenge in the dance world.
In 2016, Ava competed on So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation, where she openly spoke about bullying and body image. She later launched the #13Reasons4Me campaign to promote self-love and confidence, especially among young people.
Ava made her acting debut in the Netflix hit Tall Girl (2019), a role that closely mirrored her real-life experiences, and returned for Tall Girl 2 in 2022. She’s also made strides in modeling, including a New York Fashion Week debut, and uses her platform to advocate for self-acceptance.
Recently, Ava and her family have launch the clothing brand “Identified”, aiming to help others feel seen and confident in their own skin. Ava continues to inspire many with her advocacy for self-acceptance and her dedication to her multifaceted career.
